Restored 1950s Sunbeam Mixmaster: Vintage White & Black Stand Mixer with Milk Glass Bowls

Meet Clara, a fully restored Sunbeam Mixmaster Model 9 stand mixer — finished in her original white enamel with a black base and paired with classic milk glass bowls. This is the later version of the Model 9, produced after the Chicago Flexible Shaft Company officially became Sunbeam Corporation.

🔧 A Note on Her Restoration: Clara’s original governor housing hub was too far gone to save. To keep her running strong, it was replaced with a salvaged correct-era part from another donor mixer. While this piece shows slightly less gloss than the rest of her enamel finish, it ensures smooth function and long-term reliability. Restorations like Clara’s often require combining multiple units to achieve one fully working, complete machine — an extra investment in both sourcing and labor that ensures lasting quality for collectors and everyday bakers alike.
Condition: Restored vintage condition. Original paint shows light age-appropriate wear but retains excellent shine. Logo is intact and clear. Bowls are glossy and clean with only minor marks from age and use — no chips or cracks.
