These pieces appear to have been painted and glazed in 1980, with “RL” and “80” handwritten on the underside — typical of DIY ceramic studios where customers painted bisque-fired ceramics and the studio completed the glaze firing.

💎 Condition Notes

This is true studio pottery, and the ceramic quality is relatively low-fire/fragile — so it has honest wear consistent with age and use:

• Some glaze chips/pecks and areas of exposed bisque

• I have performed subtle touch-ups using carefully blended heavy-bodied acrylic paint to reduce the contrast of exposed areas (not perfect, but visually improves the set)

• One lid handle was broken and has been repaired (stable)

• No missing lids — set is complete
