Yellow 503 • Blue 502 • Red 501s
Few vintage kitchen designs capture mid-century optimism quite like this Pyrex Primary Colors refrigerator set. With their bold blocks of red, blue, and yellow, these storage dishes feel playful, graphic, and unmistakably modern — even decades later.
This complete 4-dish refrigerator set has been on my wish list for a long time, and I’m thrilled to finally offer one. It includes:
1 large yellow 503 (1-1/2 quart) with lid
1 medium blue 502 (1-1/2 pint) with lid
2 red 501 dishes (1-1/2 cup each) with lids
All pieces show excellent color and gloss with very minimal surface wear. There is no dishwasher haze or fading, which is increasingly rare with this pattern. The only noted flaw is a small chip on the rim of the large yellow lid, which has been carefully smoothed to remove any sharp edge (clearly shown in photos).
Growing up, my mother had two full sets of these and used them daily — for storing leftovers, reheating meals, and serving straight from the dish. Used with care, they’re just as practical today as they were then.
