This listing features a beautifully preserved Sunbeam Coffeemaster C20-B, one of Sunbeam’s most iconic vacuum coffee makers. Produced in the early-to-mid 1950s, the C20-B merges sculptural chrome curves with Sunbeam’s famously reliable engineering. This set includes both chrome bowls, the original handle assembly, lid, internal stem, spring, gasket, and power cord.

For filters, you’ll receive one NOS (new old stock) original cloth filter, still with what remains of its vintage packaging — a rare collectible touch — plus one new modern cloth filter that I’ve converted to fit the original filter rod assembly. This gives you display authenticity and a practical option for everyday brewing.

🔍 Condition

This C20-B presents beautifully for its age, with excellent shine and classic mid-century lines. Light signs of use are present, including normal chrome surface wear and expected patina from decades of careful ownership. The interior of the lower pot shows cosmetic wear from heating and prior use (documented in photos), but nothing that affects operation.

The chrome exterior has been gently polished, the filter assembly cleaned, and the unit has been test-brewed to confirm proper vacuum action and heating. The included NOS filter shows appropriate age toning consistent with unused mid-century cloth, while the modern converted filter is ready for active use.

As with all vintage electrical appliances, this piece should be used with care and attention to modern safety practices.

The C20-series Coffeemasters are among my favorite Sunbeam designs — elegant, futuristic, and wonderfully over-engineered. This particular C20-B has that gorgeous sculpted silhouette that made these vacuum brewers the “showpiece” of 1950s brunch tables. I love that this set comes with an original NOS filter in its surviving wrapper — pieces like that almost never surface anymore — and I’ve included a fresh adapted filter so you can actually enjoy making coffee with it.
