Sunbeam Mixmaster Model 9 Stand Mixer (Late 1940s–Early 1950s) — Reimagined “Aurora”

The Sunbeam Mixmaster Model 9 is a classic vintage stand mixer originally made in the late 1940s to early 1950s. This version, called Aurora, is a restored and reimagined variant of the iconic vintage kitchen mixer. It combines the longstanding mechanical quality of the original Mixmaster with a fresh finish and solid performance.

What This Mixer Is

The Sunbeam Mixmaster Model 9 was one of the first widely used stand mixers for home bakers and cooks. When new, it featured an all‑metal body and smooth drive system that made mixing dough, batter, and other foods easier than mixing by hand. Today, collectors and vintage appliance enthusiasts prize it as a vintage kitchen appliance with history and durability.

In the Aurora finish, this mixer has been fully restored—mechanically serviced and cosmetically updated with a custom color‑shift finish that shifts from indigo through blue to teal.
